Keeping options open. There’s no guarantee that Harbaugh isn’t just teasing a return to the NFL….again.
Both good backup options, 51 year old Tomlin more so than 71 year old Bill Belly, but Harbaugh if we can.
I find it weird that you’re acting like all three are going to be available
And it ends up being the linebackers coach from UMass
Have any of these guys expressed interest in coming here?
Harbaugh does this every single year, if it were to actually happen it would be this time but it still feels unlikely
I feel like Jim is just searching for a bigger paycheque from his current boss.
Also we do not need to trade for Bill if he leaves Patriots after the season ends
I know he’s a pretty solid coach, but I’ve never liked the guy. I loved it when he lost to his brother in the Super Bowl.
I’ve suffered with this team for over 40 years, though, so…

What has the Chargers even remotely done to make you guys think we’re going to go after a primetime coach? We’ve had at least 4 chances to do so since Marty S. and we went with a random NFL assistant each time. Don’t even go with “well this time is different because we’re rebuilding a franchise” like you guys don’t think moving cities and into a brand new stadium wouldn’t have been a good time to go after a real legit coach? They didn’t do it for Rivers they won’t do it for Herbert.
