  1. I agree that the leafs effectively quit on their goalies, but tbh after pulling off how many miraculous comebacks this season, I can’t say I’m surprised they dropped one

I do however hope that this game sticks with them and get them back to being the team that no lead is safe against

  2. I had to turn it off. He’s just flat out wrong about Samsonov. We can’t just keep playing him. Take a reallll good look at the standings. This entire season is going to be a tight battle for points between every team that makes the playoffs and 1 or 2 that miss out in our conference.

Two bad 5 game stretches between now and the end of season and we could be in a very, very bad spot in the last few games. Can’t keep starting a goalie the team clearly doesn’t believe in anymore. The Leafs are not entitled to the playoffs and we need to rack up as many wins as possible.

The biggest problem with the Leafs is they don’t hold themselves accountable for shit play. They just keep rewarding the players with unjustified ice time and games played.

Brodie, Timmins, and Samsonov should all be scratched next game. Then move up the chain and do it to everyone else. We have no culture of accountability.

  3. He’s gotten harder and harder to watch over the years, the over dramatics is cringy to me even though I like most of his takes

  4. Disagree. The team is quitting on Sammy. They have no confidence that he can stop a beachball from the get-go. So you can’t play him anymore. This has to be his last game as a Leaf

  5. I feel for Sammy. It’s tough to be in that place in life… just nothing going right and you’re trying. It sucks.

I also think we’ve been very lucky with goaltending… I honestly believe that luck is officially starting to run out.

  6. Weird. You put in crap effort for 2 months and it finally catches up. Who woulda seen that coming

  7. He’s wrong about Campbell never having a bad stretch in Toronto, he was pretty bad for his last 3-4 months before the playoffs in Toronto.
