Wouldn’t it be nice to trade for offensive upside?
Yeah we coulda swung a deal for him last season with either OG or Pascal, back when they had more trade value and a year and a half remaining on their deals. Also back before Simon’s took another leap as an offensive player.
But hey! Why go for a scoring guard when all you need are forwards who can defend on paper, and who we can teach everything else to.
We should have Simons & Maxey in a Raptors uniform right now. Masai hates a dynamic 2 who can score the ball, create their own shot, & get to the rim. Instead of taking a chance on Keyonte who has a high ceiling & the potential to be special, he drafted a one dimensional player with a low ceiling. Not to mention he traded away Norm who was averaging 20 & shooting 40% from three. Ohh, he passed up on Hawkins as well 🤦🏾♂️
Meh. Bargnani and T-Ross had 40 pieces too doesn’t mean a whole lot aside from already knowing he’s a decent/good scorer. And as far as I know Simons is putrid defensively.

I said this for the last 365 and all I heard “ undersized chucker with no defense” wouldn’t mind having those 3s now when we are bottom 5 in 3 pointers

You NEED actual STARS to win. Why are you guy obsessed with these mid level tweaks and players. You won because you had Kawhi who was a top 5 player. You’re not going anywhere with Anfernee Simons. You need actual Star players, veteran support cast and a good coach. You have none of these things. What has Simons done in Portland besides put up numbers????
