If we have the money we should definitely bring him back. It makes sense for him too. He wouldn’t need to move, is familiar with a lot of the staff here already. Seems like a win win.

Why are they releasing him?
I like SJD but Turner is balling on the inside. The third DL is rotational. Where would he play? Is he added depth? Rotational?
Take a playoff only contract and get some solid depth inside. Cmon
Can he kick field goals? if not, then no. We need to find a kicker.
Gotta be honest, I’d prefer this season to remain a house money season. Let’s see what this “rebuilding” team can do. We can draft depth with how great this team has been drafting, and trade during next season as necessary.
