If Jonathan Allen doesn’t get another sack for the remainder of the season, Montez Sweat will finish as the sack leader for two different franchises in the same season. Believe this would be the first in NFL history
It’d be nice if there were as many Poles praise posts as there were hate posts when this trade happened. Still can’t get over how many people were convicted he was a rental and could’ve been signed in free agency.
If this fact remains true at the end of the season, I’d be curious if this is the first time it’s ever happened in the NFL.
When Sweat gets another half sack he will also be the sack leader for the Eberflus era, as Jones is the current leader with 6.5 sacks over the past 2 seasons.
