No penalti shot? The nhl needs to correct this mistake and suspend Josi.
I’ll say what I said in our game thread: it was objectively badass, but I cannot believe they didn’t blow the whistle.
Nashville just doesn’t get called for closing their hand on the puck lol… 2 times this season it directly changed the outcome of a goal lol..

Not to stick up for the refs and I know he did close his hand on the puck but maybe the ref was thinking he saved and threw it without closing his hand. You’ll see the play all the time where they’ll catch a puck from the air and put it on the ice in one motion so it isn’t impossible that Josi could do a similar move…although we can obviously see he closes his hand

I think it should be ruled a goal. He is not a goalie and cannot use his glove in the manner of a goalie. Bat it down no problem. They give goals for throwing a stick at a guy bearing down on an empty net.Penalty shot at minimum.
