  1. I’ll take it. We’re desperate for power and RH production. But he’s the 3rd best option behind Soler and Gurriel.

  2. I’d like him. Team needs some pop but ffs they need to address 2nd base. With the plethora of OFs they can package some for either 2b or pitching.

  3. This would line things up pretty well. Duran in CF, Hernandez in a corner OF, O’Neil and Abreu platoon in the other corner OF, Yoshida at DH, Rafaela gets the first chance at being the 2B, Refsnyder and Dalbec (who played some OF in AAA and none at the MLB level but is still listed on the official team website roster under outfield) competing to be a RHH off the bench.

But with Bleis and Anthony in the system I hope the Breslow would be willing to trade Rafaela or Duran to improve the rotation. Even if that means going in on Burnes for one year and trying to get an extension done.

  4. I won’t hate it.

But I’m also a bit wary of a guy on the wrong side of 30 who’s OPS has significantly regressed 3 years in a row.

I don’t think it would be the best use of resources but at least it’s better than dumpster diving.

  5. As a jays fan… the Homers are great. The constant swing and miss on down and away breaking balls will drive you nuts. The throwing of sunflower seeds in the dugout might get him punched one of these times
