I dont understand why goalies arent recognizing who is behind their net and not coming out to meet them at the post. They are trying to put their shoulders up and stay in crease. Come out and attack that move. D men too if anyone goes back there they need to be tight. They are gicing these guys free time and space right around their net.
I don't think it should be banned but if a goalie takes a stick to the face when somekne performs this move there should be a penalty on the play (normally this would come under "follow through" but I think an exception could be made).
Zegras fake Michigan where he passed it over might of been even better. They thought they were ready to make him pay for trying it but he proved he isn't that easy to figure out
Worst possible kind of "goal". No skill required and damn near impossible to do anything without taking a penalty. The reason more players don't do it is because it's not hockey, it's lacrosse. People like actual skill, not this stupidity.

Here’s a thought how about the puck CARRIER does just that all the way from his defensive zone to the opposing goalie ? That’s what they do in LACROSSE, all he has to do is make sure no one knocks the puck off his stick. This move should be banned and should be a 2 min penalty if the puck is CARRIED for more than 3 seconds above the ice. Just ranting!!

not possible goal if they will check that kind of goal
if everyone starts doing this it will become a separate skill set. And it will channge how the defense approaches the game.

Imagine if they said this was illegal now…. Players would be pissed, the same way goalies are year in and year out when they make pads smaller and make dumb rules like the pie slice to make playing goalie harder.
