I love the fact that he knew that he had to earn the right to have the fans cheer for him.
He’s the fucking man. I remember being upset by the pick. I wanted Center Cooley preferably but this kids attitude is just so good. He’s quickly became one of my favourite players and I root for him every game. Just a gem of a player and I was wrong lol
The media was 100% to blame for this, they tried to push Wright so hard on the fans before the draft that they made some people believe the habs had made a poor choice. God knows Montreal has some of the worst sports journalist in all of sports.
