  1. Adam was responding to an Eagles reporter who [tweeted](https://twitter.com/EliotShorrParks/status/1739740471428030922?t=YWUCX6YPPf1q8iERcs0tXg&s=19):

    >Jalen Carter pressures (hits/hurries/ sacks):
    >* First 4 games: 20
    >* Last 4 games: 5 Feels like he has hit a bit of a rookie wall

    ETA: I just noticed the Eagles reporter and Jahns’ had different splits so for comparison sake:

    Jalen Carter pressures (sacks/QB hits/hurries)

    * First 8 games: 25 (3 Sacks, 0 QB Hits, 22 Hur.)
    * Last 7 games: 14 (2 Sacks, 0 QB Hits, 12 Hur.)

    Gervon Dexter pressures (sacks/QB hits/hurries)

    * First 8 games: 9 (0 Sacks, 3 QB Hits, 6 Hur.)
    * Last 7 games: 16 (2 Sacks, 6 QB Hits, 8 Hur.)

    >Gervon Dexter over the last five games:
    >* 17.2% pass rush win rate (7th among DI)
    >* 15% pressure rate (6th)

  2. It’s exciting to see how he’s progressed throughout this season. A whole off-season to hone his craft should do him nicely too. Glad to see we didn’t squander our picks gained by trading Roquan

  3. This should be posted over to r/nfl

    I feel like every week there was a “shit on the Bears” thread about Jalen Carter having a great game.

  4. There is a lot to like with Gervon Dexter. I feel like he is showing that the talent is there and with more and more reps and development he can be a force. I know its early but so far the returns on this draft class are looking phenomenal

  5. Coaching might not know how to close out 4th quarter games, but they are good at player developments based off how many of our young players are progressing

  6. This is why I was yelling for him to get into the game more early, he just needs reps in an NFL-type defense more than anything else, physically he’s a monster, and mentally he knows the game.

    Loved this pick from the start, and love it even more now.

  7. “Yeah but he didn’t break the single game sack record in week 1 so he’s a bust.”- Poles haters who don’t understand real life football isn’t madden
