I wish Hop signed with a playoff team; guy deserved better than NE and Tennessee. Guy is a HoF talent that has been in Houston and Arizona.

What a whiff by the patriots, dude didn’t even cost that much for a WR1. Need a capable competent GM above all else, Bill is too blinded by his search of submissive and desperate players who will bow to him vs getting elite talent in te building, it’s not working without the key ingredient (Brady).

“Balked” is an interesting term, makes it sound like the Pats weren’t interested or willing to pay him when that isn’t the case. Pats offered him the same amount of money as the Titans, Titans just upped the guarantees to top our offer. Also, 1,000 yards in 2023 isn’t particularly impressive for $15 Million. He’d have been better than what we have, but he wouldn’t have magically made this team a contender. The problems are much more widespread than that. We might have 6 wins instead of 4, if we’re being super generous.
The hilarious thing is that he’d have more. They just couldn’t get it going sometimes with Tanny. Weird drops, missed connections.
