Bamba also said : “That’s family over there, you know, all those guys. I’m probably going to stop by Jalen Suggs’ moms house tomorrow just to kick it. But that’s family, Cole [Anthony], Wendell [Carter Jr], Markelle Fultz. Those are guys that I can say I grew up with in the league” 🥹
Bamba was frustrating as hell as a player, but I always loved his character and personallity.

Hope he gets a video. He deserve it. This team ruined his development. Literally lied about Bol Bol to make fans think everything was ok when the guy was on court ruining the game. Mo was the better fit easily. Mo and Wendell were a dynamic duo 2 seasons ago. Mo was a top shooting center 2 years ago on decent volume, and was a top 10 center. He was the best defensive big on this team last season according to DFG% and was the best WAR big (not named Franz), best p/m player until Franz took the spot (after Mosley intentionally decided to ruin MO’s numbers giving him BB and Admiral for massive amounts of minutes. And was a growing complete offensive player, running many sets for this team at the top of the key and directing traffic. If any of yall watched Philly’s game recently, you would notice Mo getting the ball at the top of the arc and telling players who to screen and where to go, then running the sets, and making the pass decision. A few times we see Maxey or Tobias thinking they would get the ball only for MO to kickout to somebody else in the corners or cutting and it ended up making a good attempt or going in. He is a complete player right now. Clearly isn’t a full playmaker but he is a reliable director, a 3 levels scorer, a defensive engine, and a winning asset. Mo is going to eat Wendell. Goga will do fine vs him as Mo looks like he needs more conditioning but Wendell wont be able to handle Mo’s shooting. Wendell isnt a center and Mo like every other center this year will show it sadly. I still believe we win this but I doubt Wendell stops Mo.
I just honestly am still shocked this team chose BB over Mo. Like from what Philly fans are saying and from what makes sense, and reports, Embiid went to Mo to come to Philadelphia. Apparently Mo even said that Embiid believes that they can play together and that him (Embiid) can be a PF and let Mo play center. WE LITERALLY WAS DOING THAT, 2 seasons ago and it worked. But nah yall saying it didn’t but here is the reigning MVP believing in Mo and wanting to try it out with him.
