I have been a Bengals fan since the late 80s. Trey has been my dude this year. He’s been fun to watch the last couple years but man, he’s been the most consistent player on our team IMHO. He has been my silver lining this year on a season that has had as much heartache as happiness. I really want to get a Trey jersey, but I’m weird about buying one that I think will be obsolete next season or after. After that long story, here is my question: From what I can see, he only has a 1 year contract. How long do we actually keep him? How long can we afford him? Can someone with more knowledge shed some light and let me know if he is going to stick around for at least a couple more seasons? Who Dey! And as always, FTS!

I hope he gets a few sacks against Mahomes. Although I’d like to see Murphy get some snaps to Chase Mahomes in the pocket bc Miles is fast for a big dude
Bought a Trey jersey as my game day jersey for the season and he’s having a career year. Wondering who I should get next! It was Burrow last year and he damn near took us to the SB.

I personally think that when they originally signed him, that became the point where you felt the Bengals were going to turn it all around. It certainly ranks up there as one of the best free agent signings for the Bengals all-time! I often wonder, though, what Trey saw in Cincy that made him want to sign here?
