This is from the recent R/nba thread where Embiid is giving advice to Wemby. There’s something in the water in Minnesota, remember viking fans after the NFCCG massacre at the Linc? Saltiest fans in sports, hope their teams come up short for all of eternity.

One regular season game bought Embiid a lot of free real estate in Minneapolis. He’s a foul merchant and a market genius
They pretty much had no adversity all year they’ve been the one seed in the west and Embiid came in and showed their “twin towers” there’s levels to this shit
It’s honestly amazing how the snow in Minnesota never seems to dissipate with all that salt.
You’d think they never lost a game before.
Because Embiid is better than their whole team and their franchise would sacrifice KAT and Gobert to pair Joel and Ant.
Like if you fused Gobert and KAT you’d get Embiid and they have been trying to convince themselves since 2015 Embiid is a fat, injury-riddled choker while they contend with being one of the most failure ridden NBA team of all time. KAT was supposed to be Tim Duncan and spent his time in the NBA getting sonned at every opportunity until they drafted Ant.
KG doesn’t even Fuck with the Twolves, their franchise is a free salt mine for whatever villain of the week they blame their ill fortune on. It just so happened to be Embiid (and Maxey) after he exposed their #1 defense as fraudulent. They haven’t even played most of their opponents at full strength lmao.
Not to mention we weren’t supposed to be good at all 😭

Why is falling down the measuring stick? This was discussed shortly after he started playing. He falls to prevent injuring himself. He’s 7 foot 280. He’s not supposed to be doing what he does

tbh i don’t understand why they have this against Embiid specifically? Last season Giannis had a game against them with 20 free throws but they don’t care. They just lost a game to the Thunder. but it’s Embiid they’re still obsessed with?
