  1. Yeah, not 10 years, probably 2-3. Once that money is off the books they’ll be fine. They very well may be bad for ten years, but it’ll be due to bad management in general, this trade was just a sign of a much larger problem there.

  2. I dont care what we did to the broncos, i care that we didn’t get baited into overpaying for an old QB with no future growth and instead turned him into a great group of young talent and promise

  3. Not really. If they get lucky on a QB they’ll be relevant very soon. Just look at the 49ers after squandering 3 1st round picks on Lance.

  4. As much fun as I’ve had over the last two years, I wish it hadn’t happened. I wish that he hadn’t believed that he was being held back. I wish he didn’t have to have all of this happen on a national stage. Especially after he started to get it together by being the exact player that he was with Seattle. That was the worst part for me. He can still be nails in the fourth quarter. His legs still work. He can still make incredible things happen.

I’ve watched the Broncos over the last two years almost as closely as I have watched Seattle. I wanted him to fail there because the trade was such a monumental decision. It matters to me whether Pete and John made the right decision. And it could not have gone much better. But I still wish it hadn’t happened.

  5. The year is 2035. It is week 5 on a beautiful Sunday in Seattle. At halftime, a 47 year old Russell Wilson walks on to the field with his wife and children. It is there where he makes his speech commemorating his time on the field he stands. It is there where he will express his gratitude to the city and the franchise he played his best football. It is there where he acknowledge the city and the fans that welcomed him and he rewarded with a Lombardi trophy. It is there where highlights of his memorable plays and moments will remind the 12s of how lucky we were. It is there where all will be forgotten and forgiven. After, his speech and rousing standing applause and cheer from the 12s, a curtain will drop and the name Russell Wilson #3 will be debuted on the ring of honor forever enshrining the greatest QB to ever wear a Seahawks uniform. He will shed a tear and remember just how special his time in Seattle was and how lucky he was to be remembered as one of the best to ever play in Seattle.
