  1. Shit happens. Everything went the ravens way lol. Team definitely had a chance to overcome 5 turnovers which is crazy.

  2. I don’t completely disagree, but we should be giving the Ravens plenty of credit for creating opportunities (such as batted balls). Sometimes nothing comes of them, sometimes you get lucky and every opportunity results in a big play. But you have to create those opportunities in the first place.

  3. I think we should just consider ourselves fortunate to get an early look at the Ravens before a potential SB matchup. There’s a reason Lamar is so good against the NFC and I believe it’s because his play style is so unique that no one in the NFC can compare to him. Hopefully the team can learn from this and take some lessons into our next meeting. Credit to the Ravens for out playing us, but I would bet big money that we don’t lose the turnover battle 5-0 next time.

  4. I’ve said this since the browns loss, the only teams beating us, is ourselves. Had those passes been knocked down or completed. We won that game. I confidently feel that.

  5. Lamar had the same batted ball on their side of the field and it just fell to the ground so no one cared. That was just some bad luck and a hell of a play. Purdy made one bad read. Shit happens. Dudes still good.

  6. This is exactly how I felt after the game.

Literally everything broke the Raven’s way during that game. Everything from bounces, penalties, etc, the Niners just could’t catch a break.

  7. As much as I am disappointed for Purdy because he pretty much lost the MVP title, I think in the long run this is the best thing that could happen. First he will stay hungry for the next couple of years but also, it was a humbling experience. I mean, now the team can sit down take a close look at what happened wrong and this loss will allow the team to handle tough matchup a lot better during the playoffs.
So far we had won against every good teams by a large margins and we all know it couldn’t be like this every time.

  8. That game reminded me of Madden 21 (I think or 22) when every pass was deflected up in the air, and a defender would run 35 yards to pick it off.

    Good Ravens team
49ers not properly prepared (Kyle. You dick)
    And lucky bounces

  9. Leaving out the bad luck, it also felt like the Ravens had done a lot more homework – they were setting up coverages that very intentionally took away half or more of our standard ‘get it and go’ routes, and Lamar knew what to do with the ball in that contain setup.

Even without the 2 really unlucky picks… if it was just the early one and the one in the second half… I think we were going to have a hard time winning that game unless we started leaning on the ground game a lot more, and for some reason it didn’t seem like that’s what Kyle had planned.

  10. Buddy who doesn’t believe in Brock says that tipped balls are a result of a bad pass and those are on Brock. Insists he’s not trolling and can’t believe anyone is saying there was bad luck involved here. I said Brock played poorly but likely didn’t deserve 4 INT and he thinks I’m a homer. Which I am, but he’s just crazy

  11. 1 tip ball is unlucky. 3 tipped balls is different. Give credit to ravens defense as they were one step ahead of Purdy this game at the end of the day it’s one game. Let’s see how Purdy reacts and bounces back.

Lamar wasn’t honestly they impressive. With three turnovers and two being basically the red zone he created 16 points out of that at half time.

  12. legit everything bad that could happened literally happened. Not too worried, as long as Purdy’s psyche is okay. Hopefully they saw what they needed to study on tape and move on from there.

  13. But I was told that one game meant more than the many others where Purdy’s stats were unprecedented and that he and the entire team had finally been exposed!

    /s….obviously
