    > Neal’s Nov. 5 injury in Las Vegas initially had been diagnosed as a left ankle sprain.

    > GM Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll had expressed optimism that Neal, 23, would be able to return to games this season. He had even started working on the side of practices.

    > But the Giants abruptly shut Neal down and put him on injured reserve on Christmas Eve.

  2. Rest well young Prince.

Also, there goes any chance Neal is traded this offseason, he will be with Giants at least for next season.

  3. Hopefully during his recovery he forgets all the bad coaching from the OL coach and reverts to his Alabama days when he’s back.

  4. Heal up, Neal. All anyone said about this dude when we drafted him is how much of a workhorse he is. Well, next year he’s gonna have to prove it. If he doesn’t perform well he’s probably going to be cut.

  5. It’s weird, I’m not ready to give up on him, but there’s a pretty good chance OT is the BPA when we pick. A lot have said Evan is not fit for guard, so what tf do we do with him while we are also converting another LT to RT? Or is he already just back up material?

I’d definitely rather take a QB or WR partly for that reason so we’ll see.

  6. Pretty sure the Giants are not the only team this goes on with. But the constant either misdiagnosis or surgery once the season is officially over, even though it’s actually a worse injury than initially reported for players is very disappointing.

  7. How can the coaching staff misdiagnose so many injuries? It was a sprained ankle for a few weeks but turns out it’s broken?

  8. Not giving up on him to be a good starter somewhere on the oline. Hope he gets healthy and gets a new coach

  9. Didn’t our medical team diagnose this a high ankle sprain? What in the ever loving fuck is up with them

  10. Does this mean he was playing through a broken ankle for part of the season? Didn’t the injury happen in like the first week of November???
