  1. But they did wish him happy birthday before the press conference… Fucking journalists are pulling a smear job on the Broncos and everyone just eats it up

  2. There is a level of criticism you can have in regards to Payton that I think is valid, same time, him benching a guy everyone was calling a bumass loser back in October isn’t one of them

  3. The narrative seems to be that what the Broncos did was just business, but that Payton went about it like a thug and mistreated Wilson. I would argue that Wilson was given lot of patience and it is a miracle that this season didn’t go south with this elephant in the room. That is the sign of well coached team and that is Payton’s doing.

  4. Just remember, he was the 4th or 5th option in the hiring when the team was interviewing last year. He’s an ass, but if he wins no one cares.

  5. I dunno, I’m gonna wait for Klis’ report on how many people attended Payton’s birthday party, and how big the gift boxes were, before I rush to judgement.

  6. Remember when Russ was being shown the door in Seattle and the front office and Pete Carrol had to eat a ration of shit in the process? Seeing the stories posted in this sub and the developing media narrative just further reinforces the fact that Russell Wilson has an exceptional PR operation.

If only it could help him throw over the middle.

  7. It’s Reddit..most “fans” on this his sub don’t know we lost SBs to the redskins and the cowboys.
