First off I feel that is way too much from the Knicks
Second, this should hopefully end the Mitchell trade to the Knicks talk so thank god for that
Now it’s time for the media to talk about a trade to the Heat I guess lol

The pick is a Second Round pick via Detroit and Precious Achiuwa is included in the deal
RJ is an average player on a huge contract. The fact the Knicks only gave up a 2nd rounder to me is wild.
OG is a great piece and Precious is a good one
Thibs must be so freaking happy getting OG. Hope his cardio is up because he’s about to be playing 40 mpg
Any chance this is a way to trade what they just got (plus maybe more) to the Cavs for Mitchell?
That’s a lot to pay for a half season of OG
I’m surprised people think the Knicks gave up too much. I think they got away with highway robbery, even given OG’s contract and availability status.
Barrett, despite his improvement, is a net negative on his contract. Quickley is good but small scoring guards are a dime a dozen. The 2nd doesn’t matter. The Knicks just improved significantly at a position that is extremely hard to fill. Terrible asset management on the part of the Raptors – this is what happened when you overvalue your assets for years.
