I’m sure it’s not this simple (or is it)? Solid gloves up the middle, hitting .250. A power hitting, high risk/high reward at 1st. Non expensive, solid starters and a closer. And few young fire ballers in the pen. Seems like it should’ve been an inexpensive recipe for playoff races every year.
Hard to believe this duo averaged a record of 75-87 in their 5 full seasons together (not counting covid shortened season).
