  1. Someone need to give me the rules on this.

    Evans signed when he was 21, giving him three years of being waiver exempt or 80 games played. Why does the 10 games matter? As far as I can tell it is only due to his rookie status as he has already ticked of a year on his ELC due to his age.
    If so and I am right, then he is sent down because either giving him more playing time and/or keeping Megna who would be lost on waivers giving us greater depth in case something happens.

  2. Shultz was having an awful game until he scored the game winner. Ryker’s puck movement and skating ability was missing from the back end. Shultz was a bit better in the third but him and McCann’s awful decision making were driving the collapse in the 2nd.

  3. He can definitely play at this level. Schultz is on an expiring contract. Evans will be back by the trading deadline, if not long before.
