Vaughn Grissom’s complete major and minor league statistics. LFG!

I pay very close attention to 2022’s cup of coffee in the major leagues and 2023’s .330 in AAA. Grissom was the #22 prospect in all of baseball before struggling to hit for power in very limited major league action last year. This is a great move, 6 years of team control for essentially an expiring contract. Maybe Breslow is playing 3-D chess after all.

  1. Shocked we were able to get this kind of a return for Sale given his injury history. If Grissom can live up to his potential here, he’s the 2B of the future.

  2. Tough to get excited for a guy with 10 HR power but if he can sustain a .275+ AVG and be an OBP machine with 15 SB potential I’m on board.

  3. He’s a 21 year old kid drafted right out of high school. He will benefit from Fenway and a big league strength and conditioning program. I see 20HR/20sb potential. He already hits big league pitching to a .287 average.
