  1. That random pop off was a great moment for the NBA community. Bucks legend and current broadcaster Marques Johnson has wisecracked about this line every time the Bucks have played the Pacers w/ Haliburton since that clip blew up.

  2. I mean a lot of people would just double down on their takes, Wally was just a victim of the moment trying to rep Brunson. Hali is a hell of a talent.

  3. Wally lied about the “you do a good job on TV” part. John would never say something like that

  4. He’s an expert on that tbh, but we also know so called experts don’t have a good predictive history…

  5. I once told my friends Michael Beasley was going to be an all-time NBA great but I didn’t say it live on tv so no one will remember and I can’t be held accountable.

  6. I feel like he kind of had to address it after the stare down. But I love it when someone swallows their ego and owns up. It’s genuinely refreshing.

  7. The fact that he’s standing up to admit he was wrong should give him some props… Unfortunately, in this day and age he’ll get pounced on even further for being weak for not backing up his original position. Everything is backwards and ridiculous

  8. Haliburton is still pretty corny with the staredown.

Just like naming everyone drafted above him when his agent literally steered him away from other teams

  9. Szczerbiak has a face that looks like he’s had plastic surgery but he i think he just looks like that

  10. Most of the media would have doubled down on their claim, glad too see someone can admit there wrong

  11. He was a great player.

I looked up his stats and he was even an All Star in 2002. Lol how could that happened?

I never remembered him to be that good.

  12. I don’t know why people get on his case so much. He’s a Knicks announcer, obviously he is going to bat for his team.

If this would have happened on an ESPN kind of platform then I would have understood that. Obviously he was wrong but this kind of bashing didn’t make sense to me.
