Schedule Update. Flexed to Prime Time

Schedule Update. Flexed to Prime Time

  1. Won’t lie i’ve loved having all the games start at noon, but it makes sense we finally get a prime time game this season

  2. Not a flex. Final week all the games are “TBD” so the league can pick and choose the best games for the best times.

  3. Prime time to get in to the playoffs. Never would have guessed this at the beginning of the season but so happy to have my expectations blown away. So fun to be relevant.

  4. Had a feeling we would be the late game Saturday since Miami and Buffalo are competing for their division

  5. Technically prime time. I wanted this but we don’t win in Indy 🙁

CJ save me. Save me CJ

  6. I am excited for the attention but then also the pessimistic Texan fan side of me is like oh no what if we get embarrassed in Prime Time lol. Positive season no matter what so I am going to stay positive….

  7. Never did I think this team would have such an enormous, final game to end the season. AND it would be worthy of a prime time spot.

Even if we lose, this team seems to be in really good shape for the future. But let’s finish this god damn story and punch that ticket into playoff football!

  8. My hands just got sweaty. I wish they would have flexed the jabs/tits game to the 430 Saturday slot(idk if that was possible, just a fantasy), just to seal up the AFC South but I’m never going to complain about a primetime slot.

  9. The Positives:

    * Primetime game
    * An extra day to prep for the Wildcard game if we make it

    The Negative:

    * One less day to prep for the Colts which is basically already a playoff game for us and on which we are already losing a day to travel

Stakes are as high as they can be- let’s see what this team is made of.

  10. Last year this game was for draft picks. This year, it’s the most important game of the week for the AFC playoff picture. Time is a funny thing!

  11. Me: Honey, it’s been great spending these last two weekends with you and the kids…..but I’m gonna have to disappear for 4 hours next Saturday. Her: 😐

  12. Damn bro even the NFL pushing the Stroud Boys nickname😭(this is a joke don’t take it too seriously)

  13. It was said that prior to this week all teams other than the Texans, Colts and Falcons have played a prime time game. Now The Texans and Colts finally get the opportunity.

  14. My guess for the playoff schedule.
Saturday afternoon is virtual guaranteed to be Cleveland at the AFC South winner.
Fox will have a NFC game at 12:00, so Texans can not get that slot. Lions will likely get that slot.
Peacock will have an exclusive game on Saturday night at 7:00; will only air on NBC in local markets. AFC East winner will likely get that game through process of elimination.
CBS only has a Sunday afternoon game and they will want to air the Chiefs game in that slot.
NBC has a Sunday night game. Packers @ Cowboys/Eagles would get that slot as the best game between two large fan bases.
ABC/ESPN has a Monday Night game. The NFC South will likely get that slot since they will face either Dallas or Philadelphia.

Saturday afternoon at 3:30 Browns @ Texans on NBC.
Saturday Night at 7:00 Texans @ Bills on Peacock.
Sunday afternoon at 3:30 Texans @ Chiefs on CBS.

  15. This is gonna be the most stressful Saturday since the Texans first playoff game against Cincy
