  1. > The incident happened in the third period as the Wild were attempting a late comeback against the Jets. Kaprizov was battling for the puck along the boards when Jets defenceman Brendan Dillon cross-checked him from behind. Kaprizov continued to fight for the puck until Dillon landed another that appeared to hit on the left side of his lower back.

    > Appearing in visible pain, Kaprizov kept skating until the end of his shift. No penalty was called on the play.

  2. Not that it made a difference in the game but was anyone else flabbergasted by the “cross checking” penalty Bogo got in the first Sunday. Felt like a middle finger from the stripes after the no call on Kaps injury.

  3. The NHL hates Russian players and will never protect them. Convince me that I’m wrong. Another Russian star Nikita Kucherov has been knocked out of multiple games at least two times over cross checks. Devon Toews and Scott Mayfield were the culprits there. Kaprizov needs to go level 4 ballistic on the next guy who cross checks him with intent to hurt him otherwise this will never stop.
