I think what makes it difficult is the poor regular season while also looking at him being a consistent contributor the last three playoffs compared to most everyone else disappearing.
I don’t know ow what PC does anymore. He’s either missing wide open 3’s or getting smoked on D.
It’s hard not to play him. The bench is so thin. Jae out, Payne mostly sucks, Marjon/Ajax too young and inconsistent, no true backup center. They need someone that might be able to contribute and pats history gives him the opportunity here.
I mean with Jae hurt he’s going to play more minutes than he should.
I’d rather give more minutes to AJJ and Marjon.
That being said the whole bench stunk tonight.
Pat has been one of my favorite Bucks in recent years, but he’s pretty much gotta go out on a trade up bring back since on-ball perimeter defense. Looks like Pat + MJB + 2nd round picks going out
