Both these teams have not even been in the NHL for 10 years yet one has won the cup and the other is better then ALL the Canadian teams! Me thinks the fix is in! The NHL only matters in the U.S.A.!!

Yo, the jerseys for both the teams were great. I personally liked the kraken more, though. Great win from the kraken. Happy new year everyone.

I was at the game. Flew out from Minneapolis to come watch this gem of an event.
I was at this game and it was amazing. Shutting out the previous cup winners in the Winter Classic is absurd.

VGK are in a little bit of a lull, nothing to panic over, it happens to every team ! Having to play a hockey game on 1/1 isn't the best day of the year to have that, especially those who stayed up late, hockey players like to bring in the New Year like the rest of us with celebrations, unless they all got a good nights sleep and we cant blame the loss on New Year Eve celebrations, whatever the case , once VGK kicks it in gear, Watch Out ! They are Stanley Cup Champions which is not an easy thing to Win, some believe that is the most difficult championship to win in all sports and VGK is owner of that !!! I believe they are trying to hard, everybody wants them to win back to back championships and they are trying to do that but at the same time, sometimes trying to hard can ruin your game ! VGK, don't overthink it , You have that rhythm , that flow, that magic when you step on the ice, that play to Win attitude, that chemistry, that game play where each player knows what the other is thinking, once you get that back, teams better be ready for the tsunami ! Don't underestimate VGK, you would be a fool ! The tides will turn and when they do, the team they face wont stand a chance ! VGK, figure it out, your fans are behind you, we believe in you, we are waiting for you to get over this lull so the real celebrations can begin ! LETS GO VGK !!!!

Aside from the 3rd Kraken goal which was Cotter's mistake, Vegas played well, including Thompson; the Kraken wasn't superior, the puck just went in for them and for the VGK it didn't, period. Hockey is the unfairest sport of all; I think it was a good well-balanced game.

Nhl. Worst home viewing experience in years. I had to turn off even before the end of the 1st. Tell me please why 40% of the vertical screen space shows nothing but background noise? Are the players 20 feet tall that we had to endure seeing the nhl logo throughout the whole game but could barely see the puck. Just awful

This camera angle is fantastic. You get the speed of the game like when you see it in person much better here, this looks great.
More than usual, these jerseys are so much better than these teams’ real jerseys lol

Ye it's harder for players to play on smaller ices but if you are a very very good player you can be very good. This make the player work their skills. You can play making more passes or you can push your skills.
And it's lot easier to skate on water ice with real skates (recreational skates) but made like hockey skates.
Oh sorry I'm mistaking,in the United-States they make all ices with water. In Canada it's only outside,inside it's made with kind of pieces of ice,that make the ice lot better but less resistant.

The Kraken and the Knights together havent been in the league longer than the Blue Jackets yet, they get a winter classic first. Way to go NHL, keep helping to make hockey ignored in middle America.
Happy to see a Seattle team winning at Mariners Park. Unfortunately Mariners ownership is a big bag of puss an will not be trying to win this year. I'm done with them until someone new is running the show an actually trying to win. Nice work Kraken!
I think I like these sweaters better than both these team's regular sweaters. Can we just stick with these from now on? lol
