  1. Fuck me. We don’t have the cap but I really wish JBB could find a way to fit one more true NHL level D in our roster.

  2. I hate to say it but it might be time to trade one of our big names for some cap relief and depth…

  4. Then why did we call up Myers with a $1.4m cap hit? We have $300k of space left, so if we hadn’t called up Myers, we could have called up two $800k defensemen (like Day and Thompson) and not played shorthanded. Is Myers that much better than them that we’d rather just him than any other two Crunch defensemen? Are the Crunch just that bad?

    Edit: Actually, we probably couldn’t have afforded two, because not all of Myers’ salary was buried so we actually only had $1.3m of space.
