  1. He was supposed to be the guy we get away with at 11 and now he’s going 3 to the pats. It’s either Caleb or fields now unless we try to bet on penix dropping to our second pick

  2. Ain’t gonna draft high enough, more than likely. Hopefully penix will fall to us. Gonna be an early run on QBs.

  3. High ceiling player whose success will be highly dependent on coaching and overall situation. As a passer, and especially as a processor, he’s in the Jalen Hurts and Jared Goff mold, in that, Daniels is pretty good at seeing what’s there, but he doesn’t see things before they happen, aka throwing with anticipation. He can also stick on his 1st read too long, though that’s a common college QB problem. In terms of arm strength and overall arm talent, he’s better than Hurts, but not quite on Goff’s level.

Hurts wasn’t much of a passer till Shane Steichen implemented a straightforward offense that played to Hurts’s strengths. Goff struggled mightily till Sean McVay basically taught him how to be a QB. I think Daniels needs a similar approach when he enters the NFL.

As a runner, he’s electric, and he’s gotten really good at knowing when to take off, though he needs to work on when to stop running. For a skinny QB, he takes too many big hits.

If we draft Daniels and retain Arthur Smith, I’d like to see Smith reimplement the Mariota offense. Lots of bootlegs, lots of play action, lots of outside zone runs where both the RB and QB are threats to run.

  4. I would welcome it, but I don’t see Arthur Smith going with a rookie QB in the draft.

Arthur Smith needs to produce results quickly. He simply doesn’t have the time to wait for a rookie QB to develop, he will be fired before then.

  5. He’s my #1 QB in this draft because of how highly I value strength of competition in College.

  6. I hope this team trades whatever we need to move up in this draft and get a qb. I’d be perfectly fine losing a shitload of assets, hell even ecstatic, if we traded for the 1st overall pick.

  7. Next lamar jackson but can throw with precision. He is injury prone but he is fast and can read defenses quickly.

  8. favorite qb in the class

only thing that worries me is that running qb’s get banged up and he isnt exactly bulkly

  9. Trade up for him if it makes sense but not worth trading a lot of the future for .. only Caleb & drake maye are .. if his price tag is too much just try to ride out with fields

  10. Anybody want Harbaugh? Love how his team gets behind him and he already has success at the next level man seeing what he did at Michigan dude’s a worker
