  1. We as a fanbase can’t allow Dante Marchitelli to become the next play by play announcer. So bad.

  2. Sub got what they wanted. Shooting 38.9 from 3, so all is super good, right?

Good I’m so sick hearing that bullshit. It’s all about turnovers, defense and taking the opportunity in transition for us.

  3. Seeing posts getting upset about a potential 41-41 season is actually comical compared to what our expectations were before the season started.

New fans driving me crazy. Just chill everyone, its a young team some things didn’t go our way tonight, this season we’ll have ups and downs. Overall we are still headed in the right direction and there is plenty of time to round out the roster this year.

Our record still looks pretty good in the East to me, but maybe we should be the 1st seed with one of the youngest rosters in the league… what do I know?

  4. This team plays much better when they either choose to, or are forced into, playing that aggressive swarming defense. It ignites their offense. This is what I most recall from the 9 game win streak, too. It must expend a lot of energy to play that way but that’s what sets this team apart from others. Use your depth. They slow down into a plodding attempt at half court offense, which has been better than the last two years but still not very effective.

Overall I cannot complain. I enjoy watching this team, they’ve gotten better, and they’re almost always competitive in each game. They’re way ahead of schedule in the rebuild, imo, but if they want to be successful this season then I think the above is the best way to accomplish that feat *this season* with this roster and youth. Either way, I’m here.

I wasn’t able to fully pay attention but i saw a good game tonight. Just not better than Golden State. I’ll be interested to see how they play tomorrow in Sacramento because that is a *brutal* draw from the scheduling gods on the end of a back to back

  5. We out shoot golden state from 3. Take 14 more shots. Won the rebounding battle and lose because golden state took 14 more free throws. Cool story

  6. The fact is we have too many injuries the status quo in any Weltman team so far he refuses to get healthy players

  7. We wouldn’t shit the bed so badly in the 4th if we had a guard who could create shots for others

  8. I hate that the FO is sitting around waiting for this team to get healthy. We need a pg who can space the floor in the worst way. Paolo and Franz cannot handle all the playmaking duties.

  9. I’m usually a calm guy but tonight was dogshit pathetic trash. The moment they made a run in the first quarter when we were up big I said to myself this will be a looooooong night. I wanted to turn the game off at the start of the 4th but bec I love this team I stayed—hoping, PRAYING we can at least salvage this one. This was inexcusable. Yeah part of the blame goes to the refs but it’s clear as day: no one can shoot. I’m proud of the fact that Magic commentators are the best in the league bec they aren’t homers, however with Dante it’s unbearable. I can say so much more but I’m done. If we win tomorrow great, if not I won’t be surprised either.

  10. Magic is still a young and up and coming team, don’t forget that they still need time to mature. I trust the process and believe our FO is competent.

  11. Next 2 games we need the magic not to BS around pacers won 4 straight two more they move up to 4th seed let’s regroup and come back strong go magic.

  12. The beginning of the year was so fun. I think without Joe and Isaac our bench isn’t a powerhouse…we were winning games cause of our bench. Now we have to completely rely on big nights from franz and paolo to carry us, and the results are similar to our 5-20 start last year. Injuries just seem to follow us and I’m so sick of thinking about “what ifs”.

  13. Anthony Black with 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists

I really wish I could see what other people see in him

  14. I’ll try to make this short as no one truly needs another couch quarterback.

I’ve luckily watched all the games so far, and we are drastically better than last year. A few quick takeaways are that WCJ isn’t a cornerstone and his lack of rebounding and defense only exasperate his streaky offense and inability to stay healthy. Along with him (though better than last year) getting into his feels and causing technicals.

Anthony Black, like Jett Howard and Caleb Houstan aren’t really ready to play more than 10 minutes every other game depending on match ups but he’s doing his best playing above his role.

Jalen Suggs can be a career random all-defensive player and cpntribute like Marcus Smart did for Boston. I know he’s a fan favorite for his retro “heart and hustle” approach, but he quite literally dies on screens, “acts” hurt on defense only to be fine on offense and tries to make up forward with spontaneous chaos that often leads to a turnover, bad shot or fouling. I think as it currently stands he’s best as an energy guy off the bench behind Cole and Mo, with an understanding that when he’s on he’s phenomenal.

Ultimately the FO need to get the coaching staff players dedicated to rebounding, playmaking and, as we are all painfully aware, three point shooting. Up until then I think this team will float between 6-10 for the rest of the season as other teams begin to arm up as the trade deadline approaches.

  15. How the fucking fuck did they get a fresh 24 seconds when Paolo stepped on the baseline

  16. A little bit of early season success and you guys have lost your minds. We’re a young team with a couple important injuries. Very happy with this season so far.

  17. It sucks but it all comes down to JI. If we had his defense for 30 mins a game we could go back to being top 3 defense and then wins like today will come

  18. Not too upset at this loss but we desperately need a legit point guard. Every year it’s the same story line… “wait until Markelle is back!” The guy is way too injury prone. FO needs to make some moves. Franz and Paolo carry such a heavy offensive load it’s insane. They deserve to play with a pg who actually plays. Lastly, Suggs has been terrible these past two games don’t know why he’s been struggling on the road. He’s got to be better tomorrow.

  19. We are losing the turnover battle every god damn game. It’s getting ridiculous, protect the ball and win the turnover battle.

  20. Mosley watches Cole get singled out on defense and does nothing. Like at least put AB out there with him.

  21. They need a third elite scorer. As much as I love Suggs, he’s not good enough offensively.
