Zuccarello status hasn’t changed. Still in week to week. Foligno game time decision with lingering injury. Fleury starts tonight and he’ll have the net for while here. Hynes said Wallstedt is returning from injury “shortly” so he could be an option down the line.

  1. What a shit show. Welp it was nice to win for a while. Hopefully we can get back to it, but it feels like we’re plagued with injuries and don’t have the depth to fill the holes. Hopefully the upside is that we can continue getting young guys NHL ice time .

  2. I love this team, I want to see them win, but this is no longer a situation one can be optimistic about IMO. Top D-men, wingers, goalie etc. We’re almost like the Habs last season.

Small consolation is that the young guns will (and already have) see lots of TOI, which is great for their development at the very least.

  3. What I’m hearing here is Faber is getting 60 mins TOI, swapping between defence and offense. Maybe 59 mins if he’s a good boy and can get us a 4 goal lead.

Hell, might as well try him in net if anything happens to Fleury.

  4. Call up all the kids and see what we got LTIR anyone out for a bit and just see what we got in the system they should not require waivers so call up a bunch of 2-way contracts and back some cap to be a broker at the deadline maybe you find a gem maybe you get a trade chip you were not expecting.

  5. Hell of a spot to be in when you’re the new coach! Bummer Wallstedt couldn’t get called up and prove he’s an NHL’r!
