  1. Darko might really end up buying these boys some Osmows, 1 more to hit that coveted 3 wins in a row and the dinner. This trade ending up at New Years feels like a blessing, starting off fresh, this a new season now.

  2. 1. Quickley is 100% our new starting point guard.
    2. Scottie & Pascal need to trust Quickley more in clutch situations instead of forcing it
    3. RJ really needs to stop forcing it and pick his drives a lot more carefully, if he can do that, its only going to HELP him and the team
    4. Second straight game where Yak looks so much more comfortable given the spacing
    5. Schroder coming off the bench is awesome. A bit expensive for a back up PG but fuck it
    6. We got to keep Pascal. He’s so so so good.

EDIT: I thought DS was making a lot more than $12m a year – my fault. Definitely not expensive considering he’s a great backup guard but also a pretty good sixth man now. Those of you who that pointed this out – you are 100% correct. My apologies 🙂

  3. Good game.

but horrendous late game execution. I don’t think they executed a single late-game set in the last 3 minutes

  4. Having two new guys who can create their own offense is such a massive upgrade.

Loved OG but that wasn’t his game

  5. Spooky ending. Quickley looks great. RJ can be frustrating, which is exactly how he was advertised.

Smart trying to be slick at the end LMAO

  6. IQ is fantastic man. Skilled combo guard is exactly what we needed and bumping Schroder down in the pecking order is letting him play a more reasonable role.

  7. Scottie gotta call his own number more in the first 3 quarters. So many possessions where he just stands in the corner instead of cutting/screening/coming to get the ball himself

  8. Raptors unbeaten in 2024

This team is actually fun to watch again but still need time with the new guys

  9. Great road win as this group continues to develop chemistry. Couple of observations –

    * The abuse Yak gets in the game day thread is simply insane. He missed a couple of makeable shots. But he was crushing people on screens. 5 blocked shots and countless others changed. Clutch rebounds. Played a solid game. Box score watchers.

    * IQ and Scottie are striking up some chemistry. Both under team control for multiple years. Very excited.

    * I don’t want to trade Siakam for anything less than a star package. Otherwise re-sign him. Brilliant player.

    * Boucher, Thad and OPJ making a combined $25m and contributing little to nothing. One more bench piece to add to Denis and GTJ would make this bench really well rounded

    * Porter was really effective in his limited mins. There was a sequence where he pulled down an offensive board and instead of going back up with it he kicked it out for an open look. Showing more poise and BBIQ than Precious & Boucher

    * Whats the best restaurant in Sacramento? Darko is gonna have to bring the lads out on Friday

  10. Man it’s so nice we got 5 guys now who can all get a bucket or get to the line with Scottie, Pascal, Quickley, Barrett, and Dennis. It feels like we don’t have to rely on 2-3 guys to create the whole offense anymore, which has just made everyone’s game that much easier. Plus the games are actually enjoyable to watch now! We look like a proper NBA team lol

  11. Shoutouts to Darko for trusting Siakam with 5 fouls to sub him back in so quickly. Allowed us to keep the lead despite the comeback.

  12. Not every team has JJJ to come barreling into the paint, Scottie seemed to get the brunt of it.

  13. Damn. That felt so refreshing to watch. Seeing IQ play feels like drinking water in an oasis.

  14. Quickley is awesome, great to have someone other than siakam to feel comfortable with getting a bucket in crunch time. Still missing some layup/touch shots I know he usually hits. Shroeder deserves major props for tonight too. Still not loving how Scottie is playing post trade, but that shows how special he is, putting up 20 & 8 on 50 % shooting.

  15. if IQ has million number of fans i am one of them. if IQ has ten fans i am one of them. if IQ has no fans. that means i am no more on the earth. if world against IQ, i am against the world. i love IQ till my last breath… die hard fan of IQ. Hit upvote if u think IQ best & smart in the world

  16. Not gonna lie Jontay showed a lot too. If he steps into the backup C spot that would be huge.

  17. I feel like a traitor to my guy OG but I am SO excited about the new guys. It feels like a new team out there.

  18. Quickley post game

“Grace goes to god first, and my team mates who set me up and told me to shoot”

Love it! humble and has his head in the right place! perfect Raptors addition!
