Lets talk optimism and Giants baseball

Let the young guys play and see what happens. Who cares. Fucking hit Max Muncy with a pitch at Dodgers stadium and win the game. Will Clark is right…so they spend a billion dollars on two people…who cares.

The wild card dynamics will favor our team. The Diamondbacks are the real threat this year. They remind me of the old wildcard winning Giant’s. Not the top of the season in stats but post season could just do it all.

Seeing the Diamondbacks play…oh god yes that was a damn good game…watching Crawford hit it deep to walk off a one to one ballgame…I didn’t think the Giants were going to win.

The pitching was so good that game…and Crawford put his fat ass cheek into that swing and took it centerfield.

Best thing of all those tickets only cost me 17$ out the door.

This should have been the Giants…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCbDHLqgy28

  1. I’m with you buddy. Probably a minority opinion but I like not blowing the budget on one or two guys. It can be fun to piece together a winning squad with under valued guys. Although I do like spending a bit more coin on pitching (true #2/3 rotation, and set up guys).

That said, I 100% get the fans’ frustration; it’s tough when the farm isn’t pumping out as many legit, mlb prospects as we’d like.

  2. I’m with you and I made a post about this when people were crying constantly. It’s always doom and gloom rather than thinking about how we can expand our team in the future with that kind of money. Don’t know what’s worse, this sub or the 49ers when they have one bad drive and people acting like the season is over.

  3. Totally sensible…and out of the question. Let the kids play? Absolutely. But this team has to get some star power regardless of cost to flip the script and change the culture. Listen to the media (particularly MLB Network Radio); the Giants are an open joke. All they talk about are failures. The media knows it. The fans know it. I’m sure Farhan knows it. They’ve failed at FAs and built a farm filled with perfectly adequate but uninteresting players. Players are avoiding Oracle Park and so are the fans. Status quo ain’t gonna get it done.
