  1. Doc Rivers has choked the most 3-1 leads in the NBA history – there are so many red flags with him lol

  2. So what I’ll take him. I’ll take my chances LeBron and AD used properly would not blow a 3-1 lead.

  3. I’d completely be resigned to wanting Pelinka out if that’s the case, just dumb decision making across the board.

  4. I would support them hiring him for this year. If he turns the team around and produces and makes a run then maybe they throw him a deal. Otherwise they reassess in the summer.

People saying no to Doc because of his chokes seem to forget he has had a 65% win rate over the past 10 years. Sure some is coaching but I’ll take a coach who is proven to work with stats, have winning seasons and get his team in a position to win a series. Players are just as responsible for choking series leads, especially the latest Philly series.

  5. No thanks. Basically the same kind of coach. There will be a honeymoon phase but eventually we would suck.

  6. Give the remaining of the year to doc, and lets see if he can turn things around. Nothing to lose

  7. Doc Rivers would be great for the regular season, come playoffs Bron might have to coach ngl.

  8. We don’t want doc. We can do with a not great coach as long as he has a great coaching staff with him. Our entire coaching staff is pure garbage

  9. Ham praised Christie/ Reaves/ AD / Bron

Atleast Christie will get minutes..excited to watch him grow man..his midrange game needs more attention..he could be a scorer + D guy.

  10. I’m 50-50 on Doc man….. Part of me knows he’s an overrated a playoff choker head coach. But, he’s also been a good regular season coach. Maybe Bron can cover his deficiencies on the playoffs (if we make it smh)???

  11. Doc definitely has a spotty record in the playoffs since the Celtics title, but the guy crushes out regular season wins year after year. Also, listen to his interviews, Bill Simmons podcast appearances, and announcing. The guy is smart and he is also well-respected by star players. I think he would be the best option to come in and play to Lebron and AD’s strengths while getting some wins to put us into better seeding for the playoffs. Once we are in the playoffs Lebron and AD will raise their game as they always do and we will go as far as they take us. Fire the Ham, call the Doc!

  12. Isn’t doc really bad at in game adjustments? That’s literally one of the biggest problems with ham

  13. Rivers would lead this in the same direction…

I see a lot of “WTF GLENN WTF” in our future should he be hired

  14. Id take a pockets full of of gummy bears for Darvin Ham. Sadly Doc is still a better coach than Ham. Fml

  15. I thought Lebron was the coach now he’s gonna get a 3rd coach fired in his time with the Lakers

  16. HELL NAHH.. Doc don’t need to coach the Lakers let alone any team anymore.. just enjoy your chip with the Celtics and continue your lil commentating job

  17. Doc is just as bad. Most blown 3-1 leads by a coach in NBA history and is just as bad if not worse with in game adjustments as Ham. And thats coming from his own former players

  18. I’m ok with this. Doc has a winning record and playoffs experience (good and terrible). Say what you will… there’s not a better/safer option out there. They need to turn around the season and get something going. The west is tough and we don’t look like a playoffs team at all.

  19. Can we get another guy with hair i dont want two bald coaches in a row sounds like a bad idea

  20. Doc is a good coach but outside of the 1 year he literally had the best team on paper and the year he had Lou will and shai cooking the rest of the conference I can’t remember him coaching his teams up they always are front runners and end up out early at least ham can say he coached that team last year up don’t doesn’t make adjustments this is the main reason he doesn’t have a coaching job right now.

  21. In the interim, he’s levels ahead of Ham with his experience as a true Head Coach.

Can I wash my mouth out now?

  22. Doc and Budenholzer would be top options since they’ve won titles. I would lean Budenholzer.
