  1. They match Josh Harris’s penchant for analytics, wouldn’t have to move far, etc. A lot of reasons why this would be a fit.

Part of me would like an offensive HC to pair with the QB we take, but a need of equal importance is good scouting, roster management, team-building. And who has done that better than the Ravens?

  2. I feel like MLFootball makes shit up. And stuff being reported publicly like this seems like they are trying to create a bidding war to get paid more. Idk I’m not looking too much into it yet. The season isn’t even over

  3. I want Todd Monken, the Ravens OC instead to help groom the new QB we draft…

  4. The tweet cites the Washington Post as the source but I can’t find any article from them that says this is who they’re targeting

  5. Chiefs fan here… If y’all get rid of Bienemy, can we have him back please? Nagy is AWFUL 😭

  6. I worry about someone reporting on something that’s exactly in line with my personal wants – cause shit never happens that way

  7. Why do people want Mike macdonald opposed to an offensive minded guy to pair with hopefully a young QB?

  8. MLFootball simply read my post from the other day where I proposed that Harris was going to do exactly this!

Or this is just a logical conclusion given the reports about Harris admiring Baltimore and his hiring of Shen who has ties to both of these guys, and the fact that they’re both young with a very good reputation and track record and are both ready to take the next career step. I’d be all for it.

  10. This isn’t really something that’s being reported. It’s more speculative. I like the idea though. Just saying don’t get too excited…yet.

  11. i don’t like the idea of a defensive coach for the most part, but macdonald is a rare exception. the trend is young offensive coaches but I’m biased in favor of MacDonald, he’s a big Harbaugh guy and as a Michigan fan I saw firsthand what he did with Michigan before going to Baltimore. He is the real deal

  12. Also Shen served with the Ravens for a period of time so bringing over Ravens to DC seems almost natural. What they are building may not work, let’s be honest. But on paper…this looks BIG. Poach some from Baltimore to help Washington, especially when Baltimore has been highly successful and has been using analytics heavily

  13. Teams should stop trying to hire gm and hc at the same time, hire a gm and let them hire their own guy.
