I was wrong and I’m happy to admit that.

It seems like a long time ago that the Kraken were basically at the bottom of the conference. I didn’t think that they would right the ship. I thought I was being realistic that they wouldn’t climb back. I was wrong. Now after the victory against Ottawa last night they are currently right now back in playoff contention. It’s amazing how fast things change. Let’s keep it up boys.

  1. The very first Kraken game I watched was back on November 20th against the Flames where we lost 4-3 in overtime.

Since then, it does seem like the team has gotten a lot better. It’s night and day imo. I’m happy about the team progression (though I’m a little sad the ticket prices have increased by a significant margin).

  2. This whole thing started with an L. The Tampa Bay L in OT. Since then they’ve been on fire!

  3. There’s a lot of season left. They dug a deep hole to start the season and are crawling out of it but I still think they miss the playoffs.

Although Im partly saying this so the universe to proves me wrong.

  4. Long way to go – lots of games in hand for the competition. Just keep putting up points.

  5. As poorly as things were going, you can’t write the season off in early December. There’s still lots of hockey left, if they can keep the train on the tracks they’ll be in the playoff hunt.

  6. Daccord and a few other small changes have really turned this team around. Elite Goalie play can change a lot very quickly.

  7. No point in sorting by points until the season is over, points percentage is what you should be using.

  8. Everyone below has a bunch of games in hand plus LA has 4 above. Great progress but gotta keep it up and get some luck. But it’s still very early. Ton of hockey left

  9. Long way to go. Kraken are lucky OTL gives a point because otherwise this season would be awful.

  10. Edmonton isn’t staying down though, better be aiming to pass up Nashville or LA if want that spot a few months from now when it counts!

  11. We’ve dragged ourselves back from the deep. Bravo to this team for making it happen. The beginning of the season was a struggle.
