Ranking the top five rookie classes of the 2023 NFL season: Lions edge out Texans for the No. 1 spot

Insane that the Texans had two top 3 picks and still didn’t have the best class. Amazing how good the 2023 draft was for Holmes and this team
I love our draft class, but I’d have to rank the Texans above us. Getting Stroud alone makes their class really hard to top. That being said, I also think we had an amazing class and wouldn’t flame anyone for saying ours was better.
I would say the Texans draft was better because QB and Edge, but they gave up a ton to make it happen. Since they were successful, it won’t be as bad of a trade as it could have been, at least.
If you take that into consideration, the Lions easily had the best. Our first round pick this season will probably be another good player.
