  1. They never had the realistic pieces to get a deal done. I didn’t understand why they were so heavily rumoured.

  2. Would love to see Siakam get a 50 piece tonight just for fun. Never saw Sacramento as a real trading partner but it would be fun to see pascal torch them today

  3. Guessing either they spoke with him pregame and didn’t get the indication he would want to stay in Sacramento, or the Raps held firm on Keegan Murray or no deal

  4. They had a done deal, Pascal wouldn’t commit to signing this offseason. Listen to Shams first TV hit, it’s very obvious. The Kings wanted assurance that Pascal would re-sign if they included Murray.

  5. this just tells me something is seriously brewing and pascal is as good as gone

  6. Bruh this is so weird to me. The kings being suitors coming out like 2 hours ago and then this now. Seems weird.

  7. Who is relaying this to Shams in real time? We’re not normally a team to leak, and I don’t see how the Kings benefit from them progressing in talks getting out.

Plus it’s developing in real time so there’s not a chance for it to spread through the organization and an unwanted leak to emerge. This has to be a calculated attempt by one of the FOs to do something.

    Weird

  8. Can’t trade for top 25 in NBA for scraps. Kings will be Kings, a meddling 1st round exit team. Can’t sign him? That’s your problem.

  9. Pacers just blew out the Hawks and if the raptors win tonight they are ahead of the Hawks in the standings, so that’s something else to keep an eye out.

Haynes is very reputable and if he said keep an eye on GSW, I will do so.

  10. Were not trading Siakam unless the package is too good to refuse

    This is how Masai moves.

If I was a betting man I would put money down on Siakam being in a Raptor jersey

  11. It feels like if Pascal does get traded it would be a curve ball out of no where like OG

  12. Could someone explain to me why we are so intent in trading pascal? I don’t really understand it. Is it because he’s not willing to stay once his contract is done? Are we going into a rebuild mode? I thought the addition of RJ and quickly were helpful in bringing some life into the team. Why are trying to get rid of one of our top scorers?

  13. I think I might be in the minority saying this but I really don’t see the point of trading Pascal Siakam. I think we should resign him (he’s shown tremendous willingness to stay in Toronto and he’ll get paid more here). The OG trade changed a lot for us and mainly its because we didn’t see any real possibility of not only getting a starting budding star point guard in IQ but also a SOLID starting forward in RJ. Use this season for IQ and RJ to gel with the team. Scottie will continue to get more on ball reps and IMO he still has a few more leaps left in him. Take a look at the starting line up of a confident IQ + RJ + SB + PS + JP. I believe that starting line up can compete with the best of them in this league. And because of the OG trade, we were able to also find us a sixth man in naturally shifting Dennis to a back up role. We also seem to forget there’s a guy we drafted, by the name of Gradey Dick who was supposed to be a sharp shooter and instant scorer (think Duncan Robinson for the Heat). He’s having a rough time sure, but I think with proper cardio management and a summer to get right, this guy will be a MASSIVE lift off the bench as well. I don’t know about GTJ so I won’t comment on it. But we’ll have at least Gradey + Dennis. I do think we should move off Boucher and we should start to have serious getting rid of Temple + Young and replacing them with young guys like Jontay Porter, Liberty Freeman or even Nowell. Young + Temple are just sitting on the bench. Heck, I’d add Otto Porter Jr to the mix but he’s played good when he can actually play lol. Point is that the bench needs some work but AT LEAST we should be seven deep at the start of next season. If we trade Pascal, I do think we’re not going to get nearly enough of a ‘budding star’ or young assets that are going to impact the game for us the way he does.

  14. Remember all that talk about OG going to New York for Quickley and Barrett?

    Neither do I.
