They’re not taking Stanton, because Ohtani is their DH. No team would commit to Stanton being their opening day RF/LF, let alone a championship contending team. They’re smarter for that. Stanton is a full time DH. any team that trades for Stanton needs to have an opening at DH. The dodgers don’t. simple as that.
We have a Japanese guy I’m sure they’d be interested in, his name Genichiro Stanton.
Could also be Jorge Soler.
