  3. Great win, aside from going ice cold to begin the 4thm kyrie was incredible. Definitely the most luka has complained in a game this season

  4. What a team to beat especially without lively in rotation. Also enjoyed having a game start at a normal time

  23. Dallas needs more plays that take advantage of the Luka doubles but at the rim…DJJ’s drive is a great example. Lively also has a nice move where he turns and dunks from under the freethrow line.

    It seems teams are going with the strategy of Letting Luka do his thing much more the first 3 quarters, then doubling him damn near 100% of the time in the 4th.

  26. I saw at least 10 straight posts about the Mavs losing the game at about the 5 minute mark. I wonder how many were deleted.

  28. LFG! Luka and Kyrie looked great together! And we did that missing our starting center. We have 6 more winnable games in a row before playing the Celtics, let’s get it!

  31. Kyrie with 5 STOCKS to lead the defense against that tall-ass team. Exactly as planned.

  33. Kyrie!!! All I gotta say is give us 2 average players backup C and tall PF and we’re championship contenders. Our biggest hole is rebounding fix that and we can beat anyone.

  35. Stayed afloat in December in amidst ALL the injuries and now got that high quality, gritty win over a top opponent, while STILL dealing with injuries.

    This team’s got the juice. I am SO excited about this one god damn.

  36. I tell you what DJJ’s only bad part of the night was his 3 ball. Everything else he excelled. 10 boards, 12 points, 3 blocks, and a steal!

  40. LOVE THIS TEAM MAN. THEY’VE GOT GRIT. TONS OF IT.

    KYRIE IRVING IS A SPECIAL SPECIAL TALENT. HE’S ROUNDING INTO FORM.

    IT WOULD BE A DISSERVICE TO NOT MAKE AT LEAST A MARGINAL MOVE FOR SOME REBOUNDING OR A BIG PF. PREFERABLY BOTH.

    I’M HYPED.

  41. Great win and some of you guys need to reel it in a bit.

    Theres 4 quarters to the game. Don’t write it off with “Lukas playing terrible” before halftime, he ended with 34-6-8.

    Oh and the guy saying hes terrible from 3 and shouldnt shoot, he ended 5-12 from 3 as well.

  42. Kyrie was fantastic but three things to highlight:

    1. DJJ not getting in his own head on that missed three. Came back with two massive plays both defensively and offensively to seal the win

    2. This is why Powell gets minutes still. Dude did everything tonight especially on those hustle plays

    3. Jason Kidd coached a great game. Great gameplan and strategy, knew when to go to certain guys. If you were one of the guys shouting fire Kidd in the gamethread get tf outta here

  43. Crazy what happens when you have BOTH Kyrie & Luka available in the 4th of a close game. Teams can’t just swarm Luka and hope everybody else misses

  45. Whenever we were down 106-100, I never ONCE saw any choking memes or comments that we can’t beat good teams.

    This one is for all those Mavs fans who never doubted this team the whole time. Great win. We have watched the Wolves finger fuck us since the preseason, so glad to finally get a dub.

    If you hate Dwight Powell, I get it. He’s a short center. But most nights his hustle is going to be a positive. DP deserves a lot of love for some big boards, baskets, and some nice passes.

    Despite the injury, Luka is playing the best defense of his career. He competes so much harder and the team feeds off of it.

    Grant and Josh didn’t contribute many points but they played big in this game. Grant finally making his shots around the basket, that’s good to see.

  46. Great Powell game. Everyone will talk about Kyries 3s but Powells and1 layup actually got us back in the game
