  1. That is pretty nuts. Next year we might need to do something where either one of OG or Mitch are always on the floor.

  2. While that looks fantastic, it’s a very small sample size and unlikely to remain that good.

4 more games of it and you’ll see me over the moon 😂

  3. Passes the eye test as well, feel like there were a lot of instances where he clamps his man ( always the best scorer on the other team), but also helps effectively

  4. OG Ninja is exactly as advertised. He boosted the defense overnight, and I know he is emotionless but hope he is enjoying this team and stays with us!

  5. A Duece-Grimes-OG-Hart-Mitch lineup might rewrite the book on modern NBA defense.

I can feel Thibs’ hands shaking from here lol

  6. Lets not get too crazy about this stuff because the sampling is weird. The starters net ratings are always going to be pretty good if you just look at victories. In theory we’ll lose games again and things will come back to earth. In theory…

  7. He’s definitely been a difference maker and I’m salivating at the thought of him playing with Mitch. That lineup would scare the shit out of almost any lineup.

  8. honestly I was skeptical of what impact a single player’s defense would have on a team but he passes the eye test and any and all metrics point to him being just an absolutely massive difference maker on the overall team defense.

Watching him with Mitch will be something to behold. And with RJ gone and OG a different offensive player, I don’t even think Mitch’s lack of offense will make as much of a difference. Brunson and Julius need to feed him some alley oops to keep him engage on that end.

  9. OG is also now the backup 4. So when Randle sits you get something like McBride/Grimes/Josh/OG/IHart or Precious. That is a defensive line up that is going to get after you (not much scoring)
