  1. Just like in 2018, last offseason reeked of complacency. Some of it was warranted, what with Baalke blowing his load in 2022 free agency just to get players with talent in the building, but the sheer refusal to upgrade the roster in any significant way outside of Ridley was infuriating. They acted like they went 13-4 in 2022 instead of going 9-8 and riding a miracle streak into the postseason.

Not terribly surprising though, if there’s one thing I’ve come to expect under Shad, it’s numbing complacency when given even the slightest modicum of success. That and a product that sucks the absolute soul out of you most Sundays.

  2. Doug sucks. We’ve known this. Gonna waste another 2 seasons with him as head coach and then he’ll be fired.

  3. I don’t post much but this is the second national article less than 24 hours after this loss where they are calling out the front office for mismanagement of this team. I hope (although without much confidence) that Shad and others hear this and take action. I still have faith in Trevor and think he can take us where we want to go, but you have to put the right people in the front office and coaching staff to see the issues for what they are: complete lack of addressing the teams needs (offensive and defensive line play, along with piss poor tackling) after last season.

    We will see.

  4. Landed a superstar talent at QB and proceeded to ruin him with Urban Meyer, Press Taylor and Trent Baalke, only the Jacksonville jaguars could do such a thing!

  5. Even with all of these issues, Trevor still would have got us into the playoffs by keeping us in games and then winning on some fluke big time throw. Once he sprained his ankle in the Bengals game and they didn’t rest him for the Browns game, our season was done.

Our biggest glaring problems even more than the questionable play calling was the atrocious Oline and our overly predictable defensive scheme.
