[James Boyd] To clarify, McKenzie is still a member of the team until his contract expires in a couple months. Then he’ll become an unrestricted free agent. Personally, I don’t see why the #Colts would bring him back.

This whole situation is weird. Why was Brown waived today but not McKenzie?

  1. Ah, so when McKenzie specified he didn’t kill a bald eagle, it really implied that Brown did it instead

    /s

  2. Guessing Brown was the main instigator in whatever happened and they are just doing everything they can to make an example out of him. I would have to think eventually someone will spill the beans. Even if it comes up on a podcast a few years from now from some random guy on the team.

  3. Could just be some cap/cash/paperwork nuance that doesn’t really matter to us but means we just let his contract expire rather than waive

  4. These people are all absolutely useless.

Personally I don’t see why he’d be brought back implies he knows, obviously, but he’s not gonna say.

So even if he DOES know he adds nothing. If he DOESNT know, it might as well be me.

I’ll try for my job in Florida now:

Rumours that owners are upset with Baker are unfounded, sources around the league say he’s happy to carry on in FL, shouldn’t be long before a deal is official.

When do I get my pay?

  5. I bet they stole the last everything bagel from the kitchen. Wentz found out the hard way… you don’t *fuck* with Irsay’s everything bagel

  6. I’d be ok with moving on from him, he was ok at returning and not great when we used him in the pass game

  7. I think we need to grab 2 WRs and a TE depending on how they feel about MAC and Woods’ health.

I say 2 WRs because we need to try to get another great WR and we don’t know how Dulin will look when he comes back and we should probably bring in a guy who is experienced with returns.

  8. Don’t know what’s going on but a shame to see anyone taking it for granted. He was a borderline roster guy and there’s a hundred more can take his place.
