NEWS: The NHL has released All-Star Game fan vote totals again!
NHL says 20 million votes have been cast in the first five days of voting on Twitter. Fans will select 12 additional players (eight skaters and four goalies) to the 44-man All-Star roster. Voting closes Thursday.
Why do we want more players in the All-Star Game? Isn’t it better if they get a chance to rest and have a small vacation?

Don’t they have to balance out the amount of players from each division? Or do they just take the top 8 skaters no matter what.
Holy fuck, we might be able to get 5 players at the all star game.
That would be 5 of 44 players, otherwise like 11%.

Y’know I was on board with not voting and giving the guys a rest when it was just maybe one or two extra guys going but honestly if all of our stars got to go, it might actually be really cool and a good thing for them. Little bit of a boys trip and recognition of their success could go along way to reinforcing everything they’ve accomplished so far
They don’t seem to be concerned about including defencemen. Only two are selected at this point and four on this list.

Reminder that this All Star will be a draft so if the Canucks managed to get 5 players to the game, it’s unlikely we’d get them on the same team. Can you imagine if it’s Petey/Boeser vs Miller/Hughes? That might be fun.
I wanna see all our boys perform but at same time I’d like for them to get some rest.
You can vote 10 ballots a day! I’ve even been throwing one a day to Luke Hughes and The 3st line for fun. Let’s get our boys into this game!
