I can not believe the team is willing to risk it all on a mediocre head coach. It would be different if DA showed some great potential or the team really progressed this year but that didn’t happen. What are we doing here?!
This organisation…. SMH.
The fact that the team splintered when adversity hit is literally the sign of a bad coach. Also the fact that most of them came out to support the backup QB over the coach. But yet Mickey and crew just overlook this to say the players are the ones with the problem instead Lmao

Let the unhappy ones leave, blow it up, be shitty for a year, fire da, get a good draft pick.
Been a saints fan from 1500 miles away since y’all drafted Reggie Bush, if this shit continues I can’t be a fan of this organization. Can’t believe the higher ups are turning on the players instead of dismissing the coach who hasn’t done anything except for disappoint our expectations since he took over.

In desperate need of new ownership
You want to alienate your players so a career loser won’t get his feelings hurt? He’s lost almost twice as many games than he’s won as an HC, but you double down on this guy?
Is the new culture in the organization mediocrity and incompetence?
This team desperately needs a reset: Players, Coaches, Front office.
Keeping DA is unacceptable, but we can’t pretend this roster is a few pieces and a HC away from SB contention. Because it’s not.
True reset is needed. But only the saints can to 50% and keep the worst half (Allen and co.)
Hear a lot about talking TO players. Has anyone let the players talk?
As a saints/ raiders fan I thought it was over once mcdumbass was canned now we have this guy!
I love all the expert mouth breathers on here telling everyone how this all went down. Plus its Jeff fucking Duncan.
There aren’t many jobs that you can keep when you openly talk shit about your boss. Do you expect them to keep people who aren’t on board with the coach? Even Sean Payton got rid of that element. This is a good thing.
The team should cut the entire roster and let DA coach for 3 years, while the team gets its cap situation in order. They should also trade all the first and second round picks for the next 3 drafts, so they can amass a truckload of picks with new management in 2027!

Allen is Carr’s guy isnt he? Seems like Carr and Allen are 2 guys on their last ‘chance’ in the league and they are hitching their wagons to each other for better or worse.

He has to have some kind of dirt on Mickey and Gayie, that’s my only explanation cause this is insanity.
The farther we get from it, the more obvious it becomes that Sean Payton and Drew Brees were the magic that brought this franchise to respectability.
