Would you be interested in Vrabel?

Seeing as we raid the Titans regularly, could he be a fit as a HC if we move on? He sure would run the ball more.

  1. Only as DC. I want an offensive head coach with their offensive playbook. I don’t want a Brian Johnson situation happening all over again.

  2. I think fans here would like him. Tennessee was pretty good. Got a lot out of Rysn Tannehill. The uncertain Qb situation kind of ruined things the past 2 years, hard to blame him for that. Malik Willis seems like a squandered high draft pick. But as others have said he will likely end up in NE.

  3. People saying yes are delusional. There is no indication that he’s any different from what people complain about with Sirianni. He’s a players coach who isn’t particularly good at offensive scheming, and when his players stopped being good enough and he lost his coordinator, his performance ranked.

  4. As a DC? Yes, as a HC? The guy was carried by his OC. We really wanna replace one guy for the same type?

  5. No.

I want an offensive-minded HC who calls plays so it’s not like starting over every other season when the OC gets poached.

I’d kill for Vrabel to be our DC but there’s no way that’s happening.

  6. Nick has gone to the playoffs 3 times in his 3 seasons. Vrabel just got fired for sucking. ARE WE ON DRUGS?! WHY IS THIS EVEN A QUESTION?!

  7. Youre all a bunch of fucking babies. 3 playoff berths in 3 years and 1 superbowl appearance and all it takes for all of you to throw him to the curb is a month and a half of mediocrity?! Well guess what, the players have been mediocre as well. we ready to throw reddick under the bus? bradberry? AJ? Goedert? Jalen?

and what happens if this team starts clicking again? then what? thats right, you all look like a bunch of clowns that will be right back to saying shit like “nicks my guy”, “thats my coach”, etc.

not to mention, if we fire nick after this year, what good veteran coach will want to take over this franchise when weve gotten rid of pederson and sirianni after successful stints. job security for a head coach is a big deal

  8. No because I don’t want a new offense every year. Offense only head coaches in my opinion

  9. Henry is also most certainly a package deal with Vrabel. He would be amazing on our team. But he is a virtual lock to rejoin the Pats unless someone throws stupid money at him.

  10. Eagles fans in January 2024: “Yes, Mike Vrabel should absolutely be our coach.”

Eagles fans in October 2024: “Coach Vrabel only calls 5 passing plays a game and we’re 1-3. FIRE HIM!”

  11. No way. We need someone who can design and run an offense. Not another motivator who’s lost with scheme

  12. Idk why everyone is saying he’s going to NE. BB had already said he’d give up GM to stay with the team and I’m not sure who the patriots think is better than him. The issue with that team is roster construction since Bill always finds fringe players and makes them into formidable players. I doubt he gets canned.

  13. doesnt matter, if you are talking HC. he is a defense first coach and lurie favors offensive coaches. 0% chance they hire him.

  14. As a DC, sure.

HC needs to be an offensive play caller. You don’t want to be switching offenses every year.

  15. A head coach that will fully capitalize on an elite run-blocking OL and possibly even get this team to invest in the LB position? Howie would never allow it.

  16. Not sure if we’d be making a big jump from Sirianni as Vrabel still needs a proper OC to call plays.

That being said, if Sirianni was fired – hell yea go get Vrabel.

  17. Nah cus we’d still have to deal with OC recycling if we have good ones. They’ll get poached and then continuity of offense is broken every few years

  18. Nah. His team hasn’t scored more than 30 points in a game in over 2 years. 1-9 in their last 10 division games in the fuckin afc south. Sure, some of that’s cause his stupid GM gave away AJ. But he’s only won two playoff games since he’s been there.
