  6. Love Joel and I don’t know if it would have made a difference but leaving him in the blow out against the Knicks to get his 30 and 10 is looking dumb af

  7. This makes me really sad, man. Everyone saying “only the playoffs matter hurrrdurrrr!” are completely wrong. Joel going 3x scoring champ 2x MVP consecutively would be fucking incredible

  14. I initially thought this was just a contusion from banging knees with Julius Randle. This extended absence makes it clear it’s something a lot more worrisome than that.

  15. Everyone in the org has been afraid to tell him to lose weight since year 3… not even 30 yet, not even half way into the season and he’s having knee issues. Not a good sign

  16. This time last year, Embiid had already missed more games than now and still ended up playing 66 games by the end of the season. He’s having a better season than last year and I still believe he will make the cutoff and win MVP.

  18. I don’t agree with a hard cutoff for end of season awards, but hopefully Joel can come to terms with that and be happy that he already got his MVP. Just focus on getting better and trying to be healthy for the playoffs.

  21. I just hope he’s healthy by Tuesday’s game against Jokic. Bought tickets to that one.
