Fwiw, I think Chancey is happier this year than last… he had the pressure of keeping Dame happy while getting his coaching sea legs, and now he’s now more engaged as the big dog who’s molding young, future studs. Not endorsing him, but Chancey seemed defeated last year… this year, nobody expected the Blazers to do anything more than they are

Technically year 3. We already got Scoot and Sharpe with high draft picks.
Maybe I’ve shmoked too much reefer, but the Blazers *should* be contending for a play-in spot in the 2025-2026 season. At that point they will have at least 4 top 10 draft picks on the roster + Ayton/Grant/Simons or whatever they get from trading them.
