Canada needs decentralization of sports media but it’s heading in the opposite direction. I’m from Ontario and am primary a Leafs fan. Lived in Vancouver for a while and also like the Canucks. Regional networks in Alberta and Vancouver would be beneficial for the local sports communities but you’d need to have local media entities willing to out muscle the country’s largest telecoms.
As a Canucks and Jets fan, i’m going to hold on to this feeling for as long as I can.
This sub loves to talk about the Leafs.
Who cares about the top 2 in the league when the leafs beat a “no name” goalie in Anaheim?
Canucks and Jets fans partying together would be great
The Canucks and Jets sit atop the standings, BUT DID YOU SEE TORONTO BEAT SJ 7-1?!
CONTENDER ALERT
Maples leafs can be 0-41 right now and they’d still be “still plenty of hockey left, they can make playoffs.”
