[NHL Public Relations] Scott Laughton is an active LGBTQ+ ally and is focused on making the game of hockey more inclusive. Tonight he’ll be on the ice for the @NHLFlyers’ annual Pride Game.

Gotta say, as someone who’s bi himself, it really is awesome to see a guy like Scott Laughton having the balls to stand up for the community in an environment that, historically, isn’t the friendliest to LGBT+ folk. Hockey culture is harsh, and it’s not like he’s some super star who’s untouchable. (Like no one would give Connor McDavid backlash for his pride support) He’s a bottom six guy who stands up for what’s right, and that’s absolutely awesome to see in my teams colors.

   I know murderface may not be long for this team, but I’ll always respect him no matter where he ends up for the work he’s done in this city. He’s captain in my heart. 🏳️‍🌈
